It's like buses I know but here is our next update! We're now in Bergen and enjoying the great scenery and the very relaxed atmosphere here. We came overnight on Thursday and it was much better than expected. The journey was nearly 8 hours but you get a free "NSB Komfort" pack with a blanket, blow-up pillow, eye-mask and earplugs so its actually quite comfy! We have had brilliant weather since we arrived but today it is snowing so we're staying down in town, its a bit blizzard like up in the mountains! We went up the funicular railway to Mount Fløyen yesterday and then enjoyed the walk down the mountain. Its one of seven mountains round Bergen with great views of the city. We then treated ourselves to some fresh salmon from the fish market for tea as we felt we'd earned it after our walk! We have been cooking our own meals every day and doing our best to stick to the budget although its difficult with the prices in Norway, a McD meal costs the equivalent of £6 so you can imagine what the restaurants are like! We're having a great time and will be in touch again soon.
