Crikey, it's been over 3 weeks since the last post and I'm so sorry. There are basically no Internet cafes in North America as everyone has Internet at home so it's been nigh on impossible to communicate. Funny feeling when you start longing for the public services in the developing world!

I'll write again with a proper update of what we've been up to in the US and Canada as soon as possible but this post is just to let you know we're fine and have had an absolute ball! A massive thank you to all our hosts (and wonderful tour guides!). To Anne, Terry, Alex and Zoe (and Derby Dog, Ozzie and Harry) in San Francisco, Anna and TJ in Los Angeles, Iain and Sarah in Bowie, Richard, Dom, Katya and Leo (and the whole Godwin clan!) in Ottawa and Mel now in Minneapolis, thank you so much for everything. We have loved every minute of our trip and are very grateful for your kindness and hospitality in making us feel right at home.
